Fullmetal Alchemist Shintetsu: Brotherhood (ingles) es la segunda serie de anime basada en el manga Fullmetal Alchemist, creado por Hiromu Arakawa, siendo una reinterpretación de los hechos sucedidos en ésta. Su estreno en Japón fue el 5 de abril de 2009. La serie será transmitida en Asia y Animax India el 10 de abril, y también vía internet en YouTube para Francia, así como en Funimation.Com, para los Estados Unidos.
En cuanto a los seiyus de momento no hay cambios destacables. Asi, Paku Romi sigue dando voz y vida al personaje de Edward Elric y Rie Kugimiya a Alphonse Elric. Del resto del elenco algunas voces se mantienen (como la de Maes Hughes o King Bradley) mientras que otras han cambiado (Roy Mustang y Riza Hawkeye).
Sinopsis
La alquimia humana se rige, igual que toda alquimia, por el Principio de Intercambio Equivalente: hay que dar algo de un determinado valor para conseguir algo del mismo valor. Sin embargo, para realizar dicha alquimia, se necesitan dos cosas muy preciadas: los conocimientos para llevar a cabo la transmutación, y la propia alma. Por ambas, hay que pagar.
